Shofa Fairuz

Shofa Fairuuz is a Strategy Research Analyst at Eden Strategy Institute, passionate about international relations and sustainability efforts to support human welfare.

Before joining Eden, Shofa served as a Research Coordinator Assistant for three years on the “Good Food for School” project, a collaboration between the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Parahyangan Catholic University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, and the international NGO Rikolto, which aims to promote sustainable and food security. The project focused on improving healthy food accessibility for primary school children in Bandung as a ‘Kota Cerdas Pangan’ through healthy school canteens. Shofa played a key role in bridging stakeholders to implement healthy canteen practices meaningfully and accessible.

Beyond on-site research, Shofa broadened her understanding of international relations through her internship at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Jakarta. There, she delved into non-traditional security issues in Southeast Asia, particularly exploring Indonesia’s comprehensive strategic partnerships and ASEAN.
