Jessica Kalip is a Strategy Consultant at Eden Strategy Institute with a passion for environmental conservation and social issues. Jessica has a diversified set of background and cultures, having lived in Indonesia, Mexico, Singapore and Malaysia. Before Eden, Jessica worked at Rate, a Singaporean blockchain startup and helped to implement a university marketing campaign as well as carry out operational research on blockchain systems.
Jessica has also contributed data and given talks to promote projects such as the Thresher Shark Research and Conservation Program and Project AWARE. In line with her passion for marine conservation and diving, she is also training to become a Dive Master with Asia Dive Academy.
She is the founder of Project Biru, an online shop run with her mother that encourages responsible living and stocks handmade products by disadvantaged communities around the world. Her current personal project is to assist with the planning of SMU Eco Fest, Singapore Management University’s first environmentally focused festival.
Jessica graduated from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Business Management, holding a double major in Finance and Operations Management.
